Endlich gehts wieder los.
Der Club war fast komplett anwesend, schön, einzig der clubeigene Beitrag zur CS war eher suberfolgreich, nicht so schön.
Muss man wohl olympisch sehen.

Die neue Saion steht vor der Tür und so wurde der Samstag genutzt um die winterlichen “Verbesserungen” einem ersten Härtetest zu unterziehen.
Leider habe ich nur Hansis Lauf mit der Fall Guy gefilmt.

Wie sagt man so schön, nach dem Dive, ist vor dem Dive!
Es bleibt zu hoffen das es nächstes Jahr eine Neuauflage gibt, denn es war einfach unglaublich!
Gutes Wetter, nette Leute, gutes Essen, guter Platz, was will man mehr??
Ich verbleibe mit froindlichem “Physical” und möge der Rhabarber Schnaps mit euch sein!

When opportunity arises, grab it and run with it. So when the Lammy Jammy was announced to come to Portland, OR this year it was clear that I was going to ride the distance on the Lambretta. 800 miles of the country’s least known yet best coastal riding. Highway 1? Yes, but heading north!

We got a group of 3 people going and took off for the 3 day stint on Wednesday before the rally. To add a tint of adventure, there was to be no pace car and nothing but 50 year old technology to rely on.

Es ist vollbracht, eine unglaubliche Materialschlacht liegt hinter uns.
Maschinen und Piloten waren am absoluten Limit, es gab sogar von allem ein bisschen zu viel.
Zu viel Regen, zu viel Sonne, zu viel Bier, zu viel Cider, zu viel Kopfschmerz, zu viele Pferde, zu viele Pokale.

Danke Hidden Power, ein wahrhaft großartiges Wochenende.

Bereits zum 12. Mal fand am 20.3.2011 die Antwerpen Customshow statt, wir waren mit einer kleinen Abordnung vor Ort und zu den Eindrücken geht es hier lang.

Winter is rolling around once again (if you can call it that on the West Coast, it’s currently hovering around 70 degrees). So what better to do than throw some money at one of the neglected projects?

Ever since I replaced the front pads on the GP it hasn’t been stopping as well anymore. And with a new alleycat race for vintage bikes rolling around a little more stopping power surely wouldn’t hurt. So here it goes, the scootRS front disc that slots into the drum links was on. 1/2 hour project, less time than it takes to write this up.

It comes ready to bolt in.

Unbolt the original hub, keep the drum links in, and bolt this sucker back on. Only little bit of modification: it looks like the distance between the brake lever on the back plate and the slot is a bit (like an inch) longer than on the drum.

So, endlich mal wieder was Neues!

Jawoll, es passiert mal wieder was.
Leider leidet diese Seite seit geraumer Zeit unter einem technischem Problem, das zumindest von mir nicht gefixt werden kann.

Nun denn, ich war im August in Italien und wie der Zufall es so wollte kam ich durch Mailand.
Was lag näher als die ehemaligen Produktionsstätten des weltbesten Rollerherstellers zu besichtigen?
Nichts!
